Due to its light weight and action, we do NOT recommend the agitator bar for high speeding. If you're looking for a high speed alternative, we would recommend our WAHOO CHAIN. It still gives a similar squid chain like appearance, but designed to be trolled at higher speeds.

The Game Changer small can be pulled in a number of different positions, however we personally like to run this lure shape in the short rigger position. The concave face needs slightly more line angle than a plunger or bullet face in order to achieve its optimal swimming motion. If you don't have outriggers, run this lure short, straight to the rod tip (not pinned down) or from a t-top rocket launcher if possible.

The length of the titanium wire on our popping corks are 8" in length, the cork itself is approx 2.5". These typically work best with jig heads under 1/2oz.

For the Calico Jack Slant Large trolling lure, we recommend a mono leader. We generally use 400-500# Momoi X-Hard. The length of your lure leader really depends on the requirements of any tournaments your fishing or personal preference. We generally use a 20 - 30' leader when fun fishing.

Trolling speeds for Wahoo vary greatly. From dead bait speeds of 5-7knts to high speed trolling of 12-24knts+. For this pack we recommend 10-16knts. The popping cork itself measures 3" in length by 1.16" in width at its widest point. The titanium wire is 7" in length, then add approx .5" for each swivel. This would make the total length of the rig approx 8".

Since its a low drag surface teaser, the Agitator bird bar can be used on relatively light tackle if needed (TLD 20 class). However, it really comes down to the lure you are putting on the back of the bar. Its rigged on 150# mono, so pair your rod/reel to the chosen lure or bait as opposed to the bird bar itself.

We don't offer head only on the website, however we can sell the un-skirted lure head by calling 910-399-6882. We can also skirt the lure with specific skirt colors if you would like. The weight listed as "skirted weight" includes skirts, the head only weight for the Double O large is 5.3oz.
