the 7/0 shank is 1.75 inches, the 8/0 and 9/0 shanks are 2 inches. The difference between the 8/0 and 9/0 shanks are the throat of the hook -- the 9/0 has a bigger throat, with more clearance between tip and shank. See the picture below that I just took for comparison between the three ballyhoo hooks

While the rigging pad may work for this application, it's primarily designed for temporary protection of high end finishes. The material is very similar to a mouse pad in thickness and construction; however the rigging pad has a tighter weave and more of a satin finish for easy cleaning. See below image.

The mini skirt chain can be run basically anywhere. However, when we are running 2-4 rods, we generally put this chain in a transom rod holder straight to the rod tip.

However, the torpedo itself can be rigged a ton of different ways, many include dead bait. We offer the Torpedo (Jimmy Rig) which is rigged on a cable ballyhoo rig that's perfect for Wahoo. We also sell the Torpedo individually so you can rig it to your preference.

The Game Changer small can be pulled in a number of different positions, however we personally like to run this lure shape in the short rigger position. The concave face needs slightly more line angle than a plunger or bullet face in order to achieve its optimal swimming motion. If you don't have outriggers, run this lure short, straight to the rod tip (not pinned down) or from a t-top rocket launcher if possible.

For the Calico Jack Slant Large trolling lure, we recommend a mono leader. We generally use 400-500# Momoi X-Hard. The length of your lure leader really depends on the requirements of any tournaments your fishing or personal preference. We generally use a 20 - 30' leader when fun fishing.
