Most often the vivid squid chain is trolled as a teaser with some type of trailing lure, flap or dead bait (Spanish Mackerel.) However you could put a rigged bait behind this chain of your choosing and fish from a rod as opposed to a teaser reel. However, a simple way to accomplish this is to make a mono loop end through the nose grommet, crimp, add egg sinker, then add your mini chugger of choice.
