is this 319 marine grade SS ? So it will not rust ?

Our Stainless Steel cable is made of 304 stainless. 304 has less Nickel, which increases tensile strength of the cable. While stainless is designed to not rust, we always suggest rinsing all metal components exposed to saltwater with fresh water prior to storage to prolong its life.
